This oil is a blend of two particularly easy-to-eat varieties of olives (Lucca and St. Catherine) from Shodoshima .
Among the 100% Shodoshima-produced olive oils, this one is highly fragrant and easy to eat, and is versatile enough to pair well with Japanese cuisine.
This olive oil is extremely rare due to the small yield, and up to 10 kg of olive fruit is used per liter (about twice the amount used in Europe).
